Someone I worked with once long ago passed away recently. To be honest, I don’t work with many male models. I worked with
him because he posed with a female model for a concept shot.
That’s the first one above.
Photographers point to iconic pics in their port. This was one of them. Truth be told, it was HIS concept. He actually drew a picture of how he thought it should look. I took that and ran with it….
I really didn’t know him that well. We were friends on FB. He was very connected to the local fetish art community. I’m not. Still…
…when you connect with someone in mutual respect and collaboration that matters.
I snapped this quick rushed shot between takes of the previous image. It’s blurry…could be better. I posted it in remembrance.
Why….because. It’s what you do. It’s what you SHOULD do.

As much as I bitch about community, and “the local scene”…at the end of the day, I’m human…. and people are hurting deeply at the loss of a loved one. This was my way of paying respect and doing something hopefully positive and supportive in a difficult time for, honestly, alot of people I don’t know.
I figure opportunities to do THAT are something to be embraced and, yes, acted upon. It’s not much….but it’s what I’ve got.
Rest in peace, my friend. You were loved. I can see the wake you left in the short time your were here with us.
